Changing The Size Of Your Font

Of course you can change the size of the font that appears in your blog. Like so:

this font should be large!

this font should be appearing HUGE!

See what I mean?

You have to use the coding that includes font size="+1-9"

You also have to be careful about how big you make your font because you don't want it to make your blog look bad. If you make your font too big it may break in the lines and not always word-wrap to your liking. So some fine-tuning may be necessary!

Typing Like A Typewriter?

this goes back to my days when I was first learning html but if you would like your blog posts to look EXACTLY like how you type it (instead of using Blogger.com's formate) then what you want to do is add the prefix and the suffix PRE which stands for "preformatted" (I think). Like so:

I know that a lot of people really 

HATE the IRS!

But you have to come to realize that they 

are a necessary evil.......

Just think of what would happen if you

 owed taxes but didn't pay!

The IRS WILL come after you!

There are no free government grants yet 

for not paying your taxes - yet!

I took a look at the above paragraph using the preview feature and it came out exactly as I typed it!



One thing that I did notice is that you have to be very careful when using the pre format because if your lines / sentences are running too long they will get cut off!

After publishing this blog post I noticed that the ends of my long sentences were running off the side of the blog so I had to edit them to make the sentences break on separate lines so that the whole sentence can be seen in its entirety!

So be careful about that if you want to use the pre format!

Writing From Right To Left?

Here is an interesting thing that was mentioned on one of the Blogger.com "help" threads.

Is it possible to be able to write / type so that your blog posts shows it from right to left instead of the regular way which is left to right?

I saw the question posted and I got curious myself to see if it was possible.

As I type this blog post now I still haven't seen it in the preview mode yet. I just took a look at the blog post in the preview mode and it does look as thought the words are going from right to left however it does look kind of "clunky" looking.

Strikeout?

I saw a post asking the question about how one could add text to their blog that has a line going through it and I decided to try it myslf to see if it works.

This line of text should have a line going through it

If it doesn't then that means that I haven't entered in the right coding for it.
